Job Opportunity – Triage Coordinator

We are seeking to appoint a TRIAGE COORDINATOR on an initial part-time freelance contract. 

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate mental health professional with strong administration skills who is dedicated to helping us deliver the highest quality of support to people who work in the creative industries.

Duties include:

  • Manage the support inbox
  • Act as the first point of contact for people wanting to access our mental health and wellbeing service
  • Triage applications for support from new clients
  • Maintain client and Practitioner spreadsheets
  • Prepare monthly usage reports
  • Compile feedback reports
  • Liaise with partner organisations
  • Answer queries from clients and Practitioners
  • Monitor the support telephone, text and WhatsApp numbers enquiries made to the main telephone line and via the contact us feature on the website 
  • Advocate for and represent Wellbeing in the Arts in public settings such as events, etc

Person specification

  • Must be a trained Counsellor that is registered with a governing body such as the BACP or UKCP
  • An enthusiasm for the provision of mental health support to the creative industries
  • A background in the creative industries
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to think ahead and take initiative
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft office, Apple software and emails
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Can work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively as part of a busy organisation
  • Able to manage highly confidential and personal data
  • A non-judgmental attitude to mental health issues
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • A fast learner who is flexible, reliable and trustworthy
  • A positive, friendly and personable manner

Further information

  • This is an initial part-time position, 21 hours per week, three full days (ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but there is flexibility)
  • The role can be performed remotely, but the successful candidate must be able to meet in person on occasion

Salary

£20-25 per hour (the equivalent of £36,000 – £45,000 per annum pro rata)
