We are proud to announce the launch of our industry-specific Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which has been designed exclusively to support the mental health and wellbeing of employers and their staff across the creative industries.
The creative sector presents unique challenges — from precarious employment and long working hours to emotionally demanding content and high-pressured environments. Traditional models of workplace support often fail to reflect these realities, and our EAP has been developed in response to that gap.
Through this programme, organisations can provide confidential, specialist mental health and wellbeing support to their workforce — including freelancers and casual workers. By ensuring timely access to care, the programme aims to reduce absence due to mental ill health, strengthen productivity and build healthier, more sustainable working cultures.
Support is delivered by a diverse network of over 175 accredited Counsellors and Coaches, all of whom are registered with the BACP or UKCP and have a deep understanding of the unique challenges of working in the creative industries. There are no waiting lists, and individuals are typically matched with a Practitioner within one week — sooner in urgent cases.
In addition to one-to-one counselling and coaching, EAP membership includes access to workshops, talks and events, peer group sessions, wellbeing surgeries, telephone, email and text support, practical signposting, curated resources and a quarterly newsletter.
Our personalised service is 100% confidential, meaning that individuals can engage with us directly without employer involvement, while anonymised, aggregated monthly reporting means that employers receive insight into usage and trends without breaching privacy.
This launch marks an important step in our mission to embed meaningful, structured mental health support across the creative industries.
