Work With Us

We work with a diverse and growing network of trainee and experienced Counsellors, Coaches and Wellbeing Practitioners, and are always interested to hear from people who are passionate about helping to improve mental health and wellbeing across the creative industries

Counsellors

As our organisation continues to grow and demand for our services increases, we are looking to expand our diverse network of trained and experienced Counsellors.

We welcome applications from fully qualified Counsellors who are based in the UK, are registered with the BACP, UKCP, or an equivalent professional body, and have a background in, or strong understanding of, the creative industries.

We offer competitive rates of pay, sessions are conducted online, and flexible client allocation designed to complement your existing work.

By joining Wellbeing in the Arts, you will play a direct role in delivering specialist mental health support tailored to the creative industries, while becoming part of a collaborative network of Practitioners dedicated to raising standards of care across the sector.

Coaches

We invite expressions of interest from experienced Coaches who are based in the UK, have a background in the creative industries, and are interested in contributing to sector-specific wellbeing provision.

As with our Counsellors, we offer competitive rates of pay, fully remote online delivery of sessions, and you will be joining a professional network of Practitioners dedicated to strengthening mental health support across the creative sector.

Trainee Counsellors

We offer online placements throughout the year to trainee Counsellors enrolled on recognised training courses across the UK who have a background in the creative industries.

During your placement, you will be supported to accrue the client hours required to complete your qualification, alongside access to both group and individual supervision, peer support, and opportunities for paid work designed to help offset the costs of training.

Trainees become part of a collaborative professional community, with a clear progression into our pool of qualified Counsellors delivering paid clinical work.

Investing in trainees as they develop their skills and professional confidence is a central part of our mission to strengthen long-term mental health provision across the creative industries.

Wellbeing Practitioners

We are keen to hear from qualified mental health professionals who are passionate about supporting theatre, film, and television productions, and who have a background in, or strong understanding of, the creative sector.

Our Wellbeing Practitioners are based across the UK and play an integral role in our work by providing on-the-ground support to productions of all sizes while also helping to shape and strengthen the wellbeing provision we deliver across the sector.

Contact Us

Whether you are a qualified Counsellor or Coach, or a Wellbeing Practitioner interested in supporting productions, we would be pleased to hear from you via email at: practitioners@wellbeinginthearts.org.uk.

If you meet our key criteria, we will arrange an online meeting to learn more about your background and experience, share how we work, and explore whether there is the potential for us to collaborate.
