We are pleased to announce the renewal of our partnership with Spotlight for a second year, following a highly successful first 12 months that saw more than 1,000 individuals access mental health and wellbeing support.
The partnership provides Spotlight and Tagmin members and staff with access to specialised services tailored to the unique pressures of the creative industries, including counselling, coaching, workshops, talks and events and more.
Over the past year, individuals accessed support for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bullying and harassment, eating disorders, neurodiversity and suicidal ideation.
Through the partnership, members and staff receive:
- Up to six fully subsidised counselling or coaching sessions per person
- Access to the creative industries community
- Ongoing support via email, telephone and messaging services
- Signposting to legal, financial and practical advice
- Newsletters, resources, and more
Adam Bambrough, CEO of Wellbeing in the Arts, said:
“The scale of uptake we have seen demonstrates the urgent need for specialised mental health support within the creative industries. Partnerships like this enable us to deliver meaningful, accessible support and make real progress in addressing the sector’s mental health challenges.”
The impact of the partnership is reflected in the experiences of those who accessed support. One service user shared: “Without this partnership, I simply would not be here today.”
As demand for industry-specific wellbeing support continues to grow, Wellbeing in the Arts is working with organisations across the creative sector to deliver tailored solutions.
