We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Lead on an initial part-time freelance contract.
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction to our mental health and wellbeing service and oversee our team of Counsellors.
Duties include:
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to help ensure that we continue to deliver high quality, safe therapeutic services
- Manage our network of Counsellors, including leading on the recruitment of new Practitioners, organising professional development sessions and running peer support groups
- Act as the safeguarding lead for complex cases
- Work collaboratively to help with the development of new initiatives, improving existing policies and procedures and shape our service going forward
Person specification
The ideal candidate should be a highly experienced Counsellor and Supervisor that is registered with a governing body such as the BACP or UKCP and has:
- A professional qualification
- A leadership background in a mental health setting
- An enthusiasm for the provision of mental health support to the creative industries
- A background in the creative industries (not essential)
- Experience of leading on safeguarding issues
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to think ahead and take initiative
- Skills in Microsoft office, Apple software and emails
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- The ability to work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively as part of a busy organisation
- A positive, friendly and personable manner
Further information
- This is an initial part-time position, 21 hours per month, the equivalent of three full days
- The role can be performed remotely, but the successful candidate must be based in the UK and able to meet in person on occasion
Salary
£30 – £35 per hour (the equivalent of approximately £55,000 – £65,000 per annum pro rata)
