Adam is a former award-winning West End and touring theatre actor and director. During his time in the industry, he experienced significant mental health challenges, including severe depression and anxiety, and later received a diagnosis of autism and ADHD.
After stepping away from performing, Adam went on to lead a small arts charity based in London, where he worked closely with thousands of people across the creative industries. Through this role, he witnessed first-hand the financial insecurity, psychological strain and often undiagnosed mental health difficulties affecting many working in the sector.
Drawing on both his personal experience and the stories shared with him, Adam founded Wellbeing in the Arts to create meaningful, structured mental health support tailored specifically to the realities of the creative sector. His work is informed by lived experience, industry insight and extensive research into how organisations can effectively support their staff, freelancers and casual workers.
Adam lives in London with his partner and is a father of three.
