In this workshop, certified trauma & nervous system coach, Laura Fowler-Watt, will introduce you to ways in which you can support your wellbeing through building resilience within your nervous system. The session will explore the mind and body connection and the stress response, and will provide tangible self-regulation tools that you can take away and start experimenting with in your own lives. Laura will also share how she recovered from her own experience of burnout and chronic illness. Having worked closely with creatives, Laura completely understands and empathises with the challenges that can be faced and hopes that this workshop will provide hope and support to anyone who might need it.
Prior to starting her business as a Trauma & Nervous System Coach, Laura worked in talent agencies until she became very unwell. Fascinated with learning about the effects of stress & trauma on the body throughout her recovery, she decided to retrain. In her practice, Laura supports individuals experiencing challenges such as anxiety, chronic symptoms and the effects of trauma, to reconnect with the wisdom of their body and emotions so that they can cultivate balance, learn to self-regulate and build resilience within. In addition to her 1-1 work, Laura provides on-set wellbeing support to casts and crews and runs regular workshops.
