Prasanna Puwanarajah becomes an Ambassador

We are delighted to announce the appointment of actor, writer and director Prasanna Puwanarajah as an Ambassador to Wellbeing in the Arts.

Prasanna studied medicine at New Oxford College and worked as a hospital doctor in the NHS before moving into working in the Arts. 

His acting work includes roles for the National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, and the Young Vic, as well as in Ten Percent (Amazon Prime), Line of Duty (BBC), You, Me and the Apocalypse (Sky1/NBC) and Patrick Melrose (Sky Atlantic/Showtime).

As a Director, he has directed productions at the Royal Shakespeare Company and Bush Theatre, and has recently completed work on his first feature film Ballywalter.
