New partnership with Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company Announced

We are excited to announce that we have agreed a new long-term partnership with Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company to provide mental health and wellbeing support to staff and students.

Our support will ensure that everyone who works or studies at Fourth Monkey will have access to the support they need, which will include access to 1:1 counselling, wellbeing support, workshops and mental health first aid training.

Celebrating the new partnership, Fourth Monkey’s Artistic Director, Steven Green said: “To be able to collaborate with the likeminded approach of Wellbeing in the Arts on this new progressive partnership, enhances the support for our students but also benefits our staff. It is a celebration of the principles we stand for as a drama school and those we share with Wellbeing in the Arts as organisations. Moreover, and quite importantly, it enables us to be a contributor to necessary and positive change within the industry we love”

Founder and CEO of Wellbeing in the Arts, Adam Bambrough, added: “Training to be an actor is a demanding experience, as is running a drama school, never more so than in these challenging times. This groundbreaking partnership will ensure that everyone has the support they need and reiterates our shared ethos that proper mental health support is vital to not only those at Fourth Monkey, but everyone in our industry, regardless of who they are, or where they are at in their development as artists”.
