Mental health and wellbeing support provided to over 750 people working in the Arts and Creative Industries in 2023

In 2023, Wellbeing in the Arts provided mental health and wellbeing support to over 750 people working across the Arts and Creative Industries in the UK.

The bulk of the support was provided through counselling, with over 4,000 counselling sessions being delivered in a twelve month period, but also includes those who accessed our other services including coaching, workshops, talks, events, and mental health first aid training.

Founder and CEO, Adam Bambrough, said ‘It is great news that we have been able to support this many people in such a short space of time, people have really connected with our service as it is 100% confidential, delivered by practitioners who have a background in the Arts and Creative Industries, and is financially accessible. It also shows that if you are struggling with your mental health, you are not alone, and support is available.

However, we have barely scratched the surface, and in 2024 we are aiming to work with more and more individuals and organisations across our industry’.
