We provide mental health and wellbeing support to organisations and productions by offering access to counsellors, coaches, wellbeing practitioners, workshops, mental health first aid training, supervision, surgeries, and much more.
We work with a diverse range of over 175 BACP / UKCP registered Counsellors, all of whom are based across the UK, and have an experience, knowledge, and understanding of the unique challenges of working in the Arts.
Through early intervention and proper support, employers can better look after the mental health and wellbeing of their staff and freelancers, as well as save valuable money and resources by reducing the number of hours lost to sick leave and improving individual creativity and performance.
Our subsidy model allows us to tailor the support we offer to fit the budget of every organisation or production, and knowing that finances are often tight, we will only charge for the services provided if they are used by your team.
Those in need of support will be able to meet with a Counsellor in person or online within one week (earlier in cases of emergency), and can use their sessions to discuss any issue, be it personal or professional.
Our wellbeing practitioners are trained to provide ‘on the ground’ mental health and wellbeing support to film and television sets, rehearsal rooms, music studios, festivals and live events.
Their presence in a space not only means that any issues arising can be addressed immediately, but also helps to personalise the support we provide, creating a familiarity and connection between our team and those who are eligible for support.
We run a wide range of bespoke in-person and online mental health, wellbeing and coaching workshops, each led by a trained Counsellor or experienced Practitioner, that cover a variety of topics including mental health awareness, financial management, building resilience, challenging unconscious bias, and improving self-care.
We offer certified one and two day MHFA training courses that allow attendees to qualify as mental health first aiders or champions, equipping them with the knowledge to identify the most common mental health issues in the wokplace and the skills to effectively guide individuals towards the appropriate support.
Our courses are delivered both online and in person by experienced instructors who have a background of working in the Arts themselves, and can tailor the content to fit the needs of every organisation.
Mental health and wellbeing surgeries are held in the workplace (or online) and allow staff the opportunity to either pre-book a slot with a trained Counsellor, or simply drop in for a chat, where they can discuss in confidence any issue they may have, be it at work or in their personal life.
